Gig Buddies & Club Soda are official charity partners of Brockwell Live, organisers of 6 annual mainstream festivals in Brockwell Park.
In Summer 2023 we kicked off our partnership by #PartyingInPlainSight with many members who had never been to a festival before!
By campaigning, jamming and most importantly, partying, we spread the word of our projects and the importance of inclusive and accessible live music spaces.
Following a successful festival season in 2023, Gig Buddies partied at Brockwell Park again in Summer 2024.
13 buddies attended the festivals, 7 at Cross the Tracks and 6 at Mighty Hoopla seeing the likes of Eve, Rita Ora, Madlib and many more amazing artists.
This collaboration explored the importance of creating an accessible environment and encouraged neurotypical audiences to follow the Gig Buddies festival rules which outlined the do’s and don’ts created by our buddies.
