We made history this year partnering with our first ever camping festival – We Out Here! We brought learning disabled and neurodiverse gig goers, creatives and campaigners to #PartyinPlainSight.

3 buddies from Gig Buddies Croydon and 1 buddy from Gig Buddies Portsmouth, made their presence known at their first camping festival.

With an access team ready to welcome us with open arms and an ethos centred on community and great music, We Out Here was the perfect festival for the Croydon crew. We loaded onto shuttle buses, danced in the sunshine, braved the tents and shook the platforms for our wildest party yet!

We partied in plain sight, made people to take notice and changed perceptions of learning disabled partygoers for good.

Following this great success, we hope to continue this partnership encouraging Gig Buddies across the country to unite and continue to spread awareness and create more meaningful and exciting experiences for our members.
